Summer 2025

I am honored that once again Orange county library in Hillsborough, has added Acorn Caps to its events. This is the first time we have started in the summer and I can not wait. Tomorrow kicks off the Summer/Fall hat creation season.

Last year when I was donating, I met many wonderful orange county school faculty. One I will remember forever. The question asked, made so much sense, that immediately I wanted to try. The question was, Could your hat thing, make enough hats for child in our school? So all kids feel the same.

The answer was, I really want to make that happen. I think this should be our goal. So, this is my hearts hope. To be able to donate 550 hats to one single elementary school.
